Year-Long Elective Unit

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this unit.

  • School-assessed coursework (SACs)
  • VCE/VET examination for Unit 3–4 sequence

Students wishing to receive an ATAR contribution for VCE/VET Sport and Recreation must undertake scored assessment in the Unit 3-4 sequence. This study score can contribute directly to the ATAR, either as one of the student's best four studies (the primary four) or as a fifth or sixth study increment.

The scored assessment consists of three coursework tasks (66% of the overall study score), and an end-of-year examination (34% of the overall study score).

The scored Unit 3–4 sequence of the VCE/VET Sport and Recreation program must be delivered and assessed in a single enrolment year.

Overall Final Assessment

End of year Examination – 1.5 hours.
