Prerequisites

This is a compulsory course, there are no prerequisites.

Course Description

This course delves into the intricate relationship between faith, society, and individual identity through a comprehensive study of various world religions, including Christianity, Buddhism, and Islam. Students will explore the historical and contemporary roles these faiths play in shaping societal values and personal beliefs. Emphasizing the connection between faith and reason, the course fosters independent inquiry and critical thinking about how religious and ethical frameworks influence decision-making. Through discussions, debates, and research, students will engage with diverse perspectives on moral and ethical dilemmas.
