Unit Description
The City Challenge Week transfers students' centre of learning from Kew to the central activities district (CAD) of Melbourne, with a ‘home base’ of the Yarra Yarra Rowing Club boat shed (1 Boathouse Drive, Melbourne).

-
solve problems together in teams
-
express themselves confidently
-
ask thoughtful questions
-
explore the possibilities
-
develop current and future-focussed ideas
Students will be encouraged to challenge themselves and each other to:
-
Think - about the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values that they have already developed at Carey
-
Question - their understanding of the week's themes and how they relate to their experiences
-
Wonder - about the possibilities and opportunities with the Melbourne CBD as their classroom
-
Act - to use their knowledge, skills, attitudes and values to make a positive difference in shaping the future
During the program students undertake a series of challenges each day:
