Unit Description
How can we use evidence to help us decide what happened?
How convincing should evidence be to change a long held belief?
What is truth?
This forensic science unit provides a meaningful contemporary context in which to develop key scientific skills such as data collection, and forming and testing hypotheses. Fingerprinting, blood and DNA analysis, fibre comparisons and chemical analysis are all put to use to solve a variety of puzzling and intriguing crimes.
