About the Learning Area
Commerce is a vital Learning Area enjoying great popularity among students across Middle and Senior School. Commerce helps students understand—and participate thoughtfully in—the economic, business, financial and legal systems that shape everyday life. Across Middle and Senior School, students examine contemporary issues, interpret evidence, solve authentic problems and consider the ethical and practical consequences of decisions. Our teachers are experienced and enthusiastic and include authors, conference presenters and examiners. The staff are committed to professional development with a number of teachers making contributions within the Victorian Commercial Teachers Association and the International Baccalaureate Organisation.
