About the Learning Area
Commerce is one of the most popular and fast-growing Learning Areas at our school, equipping students with real-world knowledge and future-ready skills. Offered as electives across all Senior School levels and through both the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), our programs cater to a wide range of interests and aspirations.
Our passionate and highly experienced teaching team includes published authors, conference speakers, and senior examiners. They bring rich industry and academic expertise into the classroom and are actively involved in professional communities such as the Victorian Commercial Teachers Association and the International Baccalaureate Organisation.
Through engaging, relevant, and thought-provoking learning experiences, students explore key areas such as economics, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, management, and legal studies—building strong analytical, ethical, and critical thinking skills that prepare them for further study and a wide range of careers in business, law, and beyond.
